A practical course for aspiring motorboat skippers with previous boating experience<\/strong> and a good understanding of basic navigation theory.<\/p>\n

You will learn how to plan passages, handle a motor yacht safely in a variety of situations, and manage navigation using both traditional and electronic methods.<\/p>\n

The course is ideal if you want to gain the confidence to take charge of a motor yacht during the day in coastal waters. It is designed for anyone looking to skipper a power-driven vessel over 10 metres in familiar conditions.<\/p>\n

This course also develops your ability to use onboard equipment like radar, chartplotters, and VHF, while giving you hands-on experience leading the crew and making real-time decisions at sea.<\/p>\n

Pre-course experience:<\/strong>\u00a05 days at sea, 100 miles, 4 night hours on a motor yacht<\/p>\n
