Description
The Elementary First Aid course module is a combination of theoretical and practical training on elementary first aid and rescue techniques.
This course is intended for all seafarers who need to be able to practise elementary first aid on board ships. It covers the knowledge required by STCW 95 Table A-VI/1-3 and provides an introduction to the principles of first aid.
It shows how to respond to the most common medical emergencies.
Conditions and requirements
To be able to sign up for the Elementary First AID course you only need to:
- Valid DNI, NIE or Passport.
- Fill in the enrolment form
All courses will be confirmed by email.
In order to guarantee the quality and price of our courses; Yacht Point reserves the right to cancel or postpone the dates of all those courses that do not reach the minimum number of students required; cancellations can be made up to one week before the start date. In that case Yacht Point will refund the registration fee, but in no case will assume indirect costs derived from: flights, accommodation or any other type.

- Treatment priorities.
- Transporting the injured.
- Basic life support (CPR).
- Treatment of shock.
- Bandaging.
- Wounds/bleeding.
- Burns/Cramps.
Expedition
