Description
The Ocean Yachtmaster course is ideal for holders of the Yachtmaster Offshore certificate who are preparing for their first ocean passage.
Before taking this course, you must have the Yachtmaster Offshore title.
You will learn how to determine your position using the moon, stars, and planets. This course also covers weather, passage planning, watchkeeping, and much more.
If you are working towards your Certificate of Competence, completing this shore-based course will prepare you for the written exam.
The course is also available online.

After completing this course and the written exam, you will need to pass an oral exam.
