YACHTMASTER REQUIREMENTS

Description

Before the Yachtmaster you need the following requirements:

1. Experience: This is the most important, you must have more than 2.500 miles as a skipper to go to the Offshore, or more than 800 if you want to apply for the Coastal.
2. First Aid Course: If your want the Yachtmaster with Commercial Endorsement, then what you need is the Basic Safety Training course, where you have already included the necessary First Aid and Survival at Sea.
3. Radio Certificate: The RYA offers an online Short Range Certificate (SRC) course. The Restricted Radio Operator certificate is also valid.
4. PPR Certificate: This is an RYA online course.
